Web3 gaming was undoubtedly one of the hottest stories of recent years. The advent of non -fungible token spoke on massive growth in the industry and caused many people to do what many believe that it is the ultimate dream of every player - to make money while playing his favorite game.

This created the Play-to-Earn concept, and it was one of the strongest stories of the last crypto cycle.

In this interview we speak to the co-founder and CEO of Cyber Arena-Nikola Paunović-to find out what the biggest challenges in the industry are and how you try to overcome them and become the blizzard of web3 gaming.

can you tell us a little more about yourself and your career at the beginning? How did you get crypto and what did you do before?

I have over 10 years of experience in the web and IT area, where I have also learned how to grow companies and scale through leadership efforts. My main focus was on some key areas, including KI, VR, 3D modeling, development of mobile applications, web development and marketing, graphic design and online sales.

I started working in the technology sector in 2016 and finally came to Empire Games as Chief Business Development Offer. Later in 2019 I will be CEO from Veles Technologies, a European manufacturer of VR headsets for home and everyday use.

Shortly afterwards, in the summer of 2021, I started working as a co-founder and CEO on cyber arena and starting our combat meta verse to make it accessible to the masses.

cyber arena dives directly and brings a very well -known and popular concept of players - that of fighting games - in web3. There are a few things here, so:

  • Why did you decide to build in the web3 area?

Especially two things:

- Firstly, we see that Web3 has the potential to fulfill, "play and earn" the dreams of all players.

- secondly, we see that we have great potential because there is a lack of proactive teams with a high quality game that makes addicts and offers a smooth gameplay

  • What do you think are the advantages of web3 gaming compared to conventional gaming?

Only the upper 2 % of players earn with traditional games, these are mainly the professional players. In web3 we see an equal opportunity for everyone to earn when playing the game, and of course the user has everything he buys in Web3, these assets. Traditional games have no such advantages.

Our motto is: "People invest money in traditional games ... With cyber arena, people can invest their quality time to make money."

Do you think that the current web3 market environment will influence long -term?

I think crypto goes through a cleaning phase, which is very good. I also have the feeling that we are almost on the ground, but we definitely say a brilliant future from 2024.

What was the biggest challenge that you had to face on your trip at Cyber Arena?

From the development part: Multiplayer, it is not easy to create a fighting game without latency, and to optimize the game in such a way that it works on almost all devices with high -quality graphics.

What are you most looking forward to and what do you hope to achieve in the web3 gaming area?

In phase two by Cyber Arena Metaverse, we will introduce some celebrities from Holywood that have recently jumped into the crypto room, so we will integrate the communities and non-fungal token of other projects and give them the opportunity to measure themselves against each other.

We hope to develop more of our games and integrate into Web3 protocols, to expand the game categories and become the Web3 Blizzard.

We want to set new standards for web3 gaming and raise the Gamefi to a new level.

Can you give us a few details about the gameplay from Cyber Arena? Are there different modes, background stories of the characters and so on?

cyber arena is a quickly inserted 2.5 D fighting game, similar to Tekken. Each character has different combat styles, animations and deep traditions. There are 4 main game modes:

There is a story mode. It is the single player mode in which people first learn the basics of the fighter. Each character has a unique story, gaming experience and a game of play. Users can improve characters and help them to achieve their personal vendes or liberation goals.

There is also a league mode-in this mode, users can rise through the league divisions, climb the ranking system, claim exclusive NFTs and tokens and receive trail rewards at the end of each season.

The tournament mode was developed to enable players to participate in tournaments. To do this, you have to own tournament tickets, then you can use a tournament ticket and select various tournament difficulties and sizes with up to 128 players. The reward system is like a college reward system, so that the players only have to win 1 game to reimburse their ticket, every win afterwards is a pure profit regardless of the tournament size.

versus mode-this is the game with missions in which users can create their own combat proposal, in which they determine the rules, or take on another fighter's proposal and fight for cat-tokens ... The winner gets everything!

your native token - cat - what function does he have?

The benefits of CAT token is determined by gameplay abrasions and the value of Web2 and Web3 Metaverse Economics. We are the first web3 gaming project with two games, web2 and web3, with 50% of the income from both games being redistributed in the form of return purchases. Back-bought tokens are redirected into burns, liquidity, staking rewards and airdrops.

token value of Game Economy

  • burns: The administration can vote for burning up to 25 % of the bought token.
