The community will fight against large investors at the NFT auction from Super How

[press release - Vilnius, Lithuania, 26th October 2021]

The art platform Superhow.Art starts a special NFT auction. During a one -week event, a real oil painting "head with legs" is auctioned by one of the greatest Russian surrealists, Oleg Tselkov, together with the associated NFT.

competition: Wale vs. shrimp

During the auction, Superhow is organized by an experimental competition between large investors and the community of enthusiasts to see who has more power in your hands.

The organizers introduce two bidders: whales and shrimp. All commandments handed over by the shrimp are collected in a pool that competes with the bid of the whale. If a whale wins, he gets the actual painting and the corresponding NFT is assigned to him.

When shrimp, it is divided into several parts that correspond to the Shrimp bids and assign their wallet addresses. The painting remains in the gallery, but goes into co -ownership.

"We want to check whether whales are stronger than the community. Perhaps the community shows that small market participants can win with combined forces and become partial owners of this beautiful fixed assets," explains Vytautas Kašėta, CEO from Superhow.Art.

The future of art

The NFT market is booming; However, the skeptics doubt the actual financial and artistic value of .jpg images that are said to be worth millions. By leaving the current NFT hype aside, the project encourages the art community to invest in an authentic, really valuable work of art and digital asset.

Since the Blockchain technology is introduced quickly, Kašėta and the Superhow believe that this is a significant time for galleries and art investors to manage technological advances in bringing new ideas into the community and creating hybrid solutions that are physical to connect digital.

"Symbolizing Fine Art means making more people accessible by implementing the partial ownership concepts of Superhow.Art.art. All of this has a big impact on art investors. They have to develop with the market and become more flexible and more liberal if they want to keep their position," demands Kašėta.

blockchain essentially strengthens the community and decentralization. It can potentially change the dynamics of power in the consolidated art market and bring a new degree of transparency.

"We will always need experts for the detection of authenticity, provenance, evaluation, but new technologies will help and automate processes, bring a lot more transparency, social relationships, social acceptance," assured Kaš making.
