The government of Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele subsidizes the state's petrol market

After the unveiling of the Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele Last week, this Friday, Bukele tells his twitter-follower about two positive changes the government has issued. At the beginning, Bukele explained that he signed a decree that authorizes a fund to stabilize the gas price in El Salvador. He found that gas prices would probably increase, but his decree had stopped the climb.

In fact, the gas prices become "slightly", Bukele emphasized. "The government will absorb the increase that takes place on the international market for a year," said the Salvadorian president. "If there are discounts, they are transferred directly to the price of LPG bottles (all brands existing in our country) to consumers," added Bukele.

The President also said that households that have already received a gas subsidy continue to receive help and that gas prices will not increase, but instead cuts. "This will not only relieve the bags of households, but also that of the small companies, which contributes to strengthening our economy, and the most endangered sectors will also benefit from the economic growth of our country," said Bukele.

According to these statements, Bukele then stated that users of chivo-bitcoin wallets can receive a petrol discount per gallon when refueling.

The guidelines for this new discount are not entirely clear, but Bukele said that a number of the country's largest petrol station companies will reduce the petrol prize per gallon by $ 0.20 if a customer uses the chivo wallet application to pay. He also shared some ads that showed some of the participating petrol stations. Bukele said:

The state-owned company Chivo has negotiated with the largest petrol station companies in our country, so that these petrol stations sell every gallon fuel with the chivo letter bag by $ 0.20 from tomorrow.
