Coinbase becomes exclusive cryptocurrency platform for NBA, WNBA, USA basketball - exchanged
The Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange has teamed up with the National Basketball Association (NBA). The crypto company listed on the Nasdaq is now an exclusive cryptocurrency platform partner of the NBA, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), the NBA G League, the NBA 2K League and the USA basketball.
The first cryptocurrency platform partnership of the NBA
The Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange listed on the Nasdaq and the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced "a multi -year partnership" on Tuesday.
The partnership "Makes Coinbase the exclusive cryptocurrency platform partner of the NBA, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), the NBA G League, the NBA 2K League and the USA basketball", says the announcement details and adds:
The deal, which represents the first cryptocurrency platform partnership for every league, will consist of unique content, innovations, activations and experiences of coinbase to educate fans about increasing progress in crypto economy.
The NBA G League or G League is the official Minor League Basketball Organization of the National Basketball Association. The NBA 2K League is a joint venture between the NBA and the video game publisher Take-Two Interactive.
USA basketball is a non-profit organization and the national umbrella organization for men's and women's basketball in the USA. She represents the country in the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the men's national basketball teams in the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
"Starting with the 75th anniversary season of the NBA today, Coinbase will have a brand presence for games broadcast nationwide," says the announcement. "The company will also be presenting partner of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup and the exhibition tours of the US basketball national teams for men and women as well as partners of the NBA G League Ignite."
