CLEPARK starts 50 MW Bitcoin Mining Extension

The Bitcoin mining company CleParkk has started building the second phase on a site in Washington, Georgia, which is supposed to offer space for 16,000 miners. This step is expected to increase the hash rate up to 8.7 EH/s and thus contribute a further 2.2 EH/S.

In the new phase, the mining machine fleet-Antminer S19J Pro and Antminer S19 XP-will include, which are considered the latest and most energy-efficient models of such machines that are currently available.

Based on the final number of each model in the mixture, the entire computing power that the Bitcoin mining capacity of ClaParkk is added is increased from the current hash rate of 6.5 EH/s between 25 % and 34 %. Zach Bradford, Chief Executive Officer from CLEPARK, said that the company was quite confident about expanding after the location of the location and adding it 50 MW to the existing 36 MW infrastructure.

In an explanation, the managing director said:

"This second phase will more than double the size of the existing operation. We look forward to expanding our relationship with the Washington City community and supporting the building contracts associated with this expansion."

The construction of the second phase should be completed by late spring.

Focus from ClePark on carbon -low energy sources

The announcement takes place in the middle of a difficult market in which several mining companies register bankruptcy, while this year is expected to be expected. ClePark, for example, claims that despite a downturn from 2.1 EH/S in January 2022, ClePark claims to have increased to 6.2 EH/s in December 2022. To do this, it sold a large part of its mined BTC to reinvest the growth by following a "capital management strategy".

ClaPark also claims to reduce mainly with renewable or low -carbon energy sources. In fact, in the first phase of the location, the company mainly uses low -carbon energy sources. As Scott Garrison, Vice President of Business Development, found, the location in Georgia also uses the latest generation of technologies and is one of the most energy-efficient and sustainable Bitcoin mining companies.

In the meantime, Georgia has attracted several miners with its relatively low energy prices in recent years. It also offers a considerable amount of core and solar energy, which enables companies to describe itself as "sustainable and green".
