Bitcoin has previously listed the largest minute block, 4-MM block with NFT causes discomfort for small block supporters-
in the middle of the controversy about the ordinal project and the debate about the types of data should be stored in the Bitcoin blockchain, the network has reduced its largest block with a size of almost 4 MB and only 63 transactions. One of the transactions was a 3.94 MB ordinal inscription with the image of a magician, and the non -servant token (NFT) issued by Bitcoin triggered considerable discussions.

On February 1, 2023, the Luxor Mining Pool dismantled the largest block (#774.628 ), which were ever recorded in Bitcoin network, approximately 3.96 Mb. The block base parameter of the block contains a message that indicates its discovery by Luxor. The mining pool also used Twitter to inform the community about the discovery and the reason for the size of the block.
"Last night Luxor used his magical energy and freed an ancient magician from his cosmic cage, in which he was trapped for many epochs," said the mining pool tweeted . "Attentive observers of the time chain may have noticed a 4-MB anomaly, unlike anything that was seen before. Will there be others?" The tweet also contained a picture of the "Taproot Wizard", an order inscription #652 , attached to the block. Taproot, a function that was applied to the Bitcoin network on November 12, 2021, was activated at Blockhöhe 709,632 and brought several new advantages with Bitcoin User.
a 3.96-MB block #774628 was just added from Bitcoin to Bitcoin @luxortechteam Buggy Taproot! The previous record was only 2.77 MB. Here is the list of the biggest blocks: https://t.co/lsavqjlfeq
That will trigger many! Are we facing a new blocksize war? 🤓

Essentially, Taproot enables several participants in a transaction to create a single combined digital signature, which makes transactions more efficient and private. Since the creation of order numbers it has been so "Rabatts" by Segregated Witness (Segwit) In combination with Taproot, it enables a complete block 4 MB to be large, whereby the 1-MM limit encoded in the Bitcoin blockchain is bypassed. It was already known that Segwit had increased the block size slightly, with the largest block in front of Luxors 3.96 MB 2.765 MB (#748.918 ) on 11. August 2022) dismantled.
concerns about the unchangeability of Bitcoin and so -called "dangerous" content
In the meantime, order numbers already controversial under a few bitcoin maximalists, and 4-MB block, which was dismantled with only 63 transactions and a Wizard-JPEG, caused further excitement. For example the Bitcoin developer Luke Dashjr, the ordinals as " attack "quickly created a node patch to filter or censor ordinary" spam ". "No change in the log or soft fork/hard fork, only a harmless (if it works properly) spam filter", dashjr wrote . "Also a quick hack and not suitable for opening a PR to Core - please write a suitable fix for it."

Many Bitcoin supporters were dissatisfied with the record-breaking block size, and the topic War discussed in the Reddit-Forum R/Bitcoin. Most positive comment ES: "I would much rather see such a block full of real money transactions from thousands of people than this nonsense."
Another person agreed to this opinion and argues that the taproot scheme, which produced a 4-MB block, was dangerous. "Yes ... this is quite dangerous. We are just a bad player or an automated miner away from cementing hideous and disgusting things into a permanent, globally distributed, uncensable database. It will be interesting to see whether there is a free market solution for this."
someone just umt the bitcoin blockchain.

In addition to the excitement caused by the order number of the Wizard block, an unappetizing image was inscribed inscription #668 . Although the picture has been removed from the OrdinalS website, it remains unchangeable and cannot be removed from the Bitcoin blockchain. There was also a game, "doom", therein uploaded can be found in inscription #466.
Some Bitcoin supporters expressed dissatisfied with the mining pool Luxor, which dismantled the 4-MB block.
