In the world of cryptocurrencies, various major topics currently play a role. While Ripple, Binance and Coinbase are fighting for their legal classification with the SEC, Altcoins such as XRP, SOL and ADA are faced with the question of whether they should be regarded as securities.

In the middle of all of these discussions, however, there is also a new focus on the veteran of the crypto industry: Bitcoin. Under the radar of public interest, the so -called Lightning Network is gradually expanded and more and more financial giants suddenly want to launch Bitcoin Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

In order to understand the current situation and the background of these developments, we talked to Daniel Winklhammer from Salzburg Startup 21bitcoin in a current podcast episode. The topics dealt with in this episode are:

2. XRP, SOL & ADA-The big security question
Similar to Ripple, other old coins such as XRP, SOL and ADA have the regulatory questions in the room whether they should be classified as securities. The answers to this can have a significant impact on the course of these cryptocurrencies.

3. Why Bitcoin is
Unlike the old coins mentioned above, Bitcoin seems to be spared the debate about the legal classification as security. But why is that? What special features does Bitcoin have to take off from the other cryptocurrencies?

4. The big trend towards Bitcoin ETFs
While Bitcoin has so far been acted primarily by private investors and speculators, financial giants are now also showing increased interest in Bitcoin. You would like to launch Bitcoin ETFs to enable easier access to this cryptocurrency.

5. Lightning Network - why startups are increasingly putting
The Lightning Network is a scaling solution for Bitcoin that enables transactions to be processed faster and cheaper. More and more startups are focusing on being able to optimally use the advantages of the Bitcoin network.

6. Regulatory requirements for Lightning
Since the Lightning Network is a new technology, there are also regulatory questions that have to be clarified. In the podcast episode you will learn more about the current regulatory requirements for Lightning Network.
