Shortly after the US government announced that it had reached an agreement on the debt ceiling, BTC rose by more than one thousand and reached a three-week high.

Altoins are also in the green today, with ETH reaching the $ 1,900 mark for the first time since the beginning of May.

Bitcoin trade was sideways most of the past week and was stopped several times at $ 27,500. The latter drove down the asset heavily, since it fell to less than $ 26,000 for the first time in two weeks.

After the BTC has regained most of the lost value the next day or so, it returns to its rather familiar range of $ 26,500 and $ 27,500. The beginning of the weekend was relatively stable because the cryptocurrency remained around $ 27,000.

The landscape began to change until early Monday. When it became known that the US government had finally reached an agreement on the debt limit, BTC rose by more than one thousand and approached $ 28,500, which was the highest price since May 8th.

Despite the loss of several hundred dollars since then, Bitcoin has still increased by over 2 % during the day. Its market capitalization rose to $ 540 billion and its dominance compared to the old coins is up to 46.6 %.

ETH opens up $ 1.9,000 $

The alternative coins have also moved north in the last 24 hours. Ethereum is one of the most remarkable winners in the top 10. ETH has increased by almost 3 % and achieved $ 1,900 and thus marked the highest price for about three weeks.

Binance (2 %) is close to $ 315. RippleCardano, Dogecoin, Matic, Solana, Polkadot, Litecoin and Avalanche are also in the green area.

The greatest profits make LDO and QNT. Both assets have increased by about 5–6 %.

Overall, the overall capitalization of the crypto market exceeds $ 1.170 trillion, which means that $ 30 billion and $ 70 billion in four days.
