Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak warns governments not to deprive cryptocurrencies of their control-
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak sees Bitcoin as a mathematical purity and praises his fixed offer. However, he said that the governments will never allow them to escape their control. "If it came to the point where everything is handled in crypto and not for observation and taxation and all of this through the governments, the governments would simply prohibit it," said the Apple co-founder.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak spoke on Friday in an interview with Yahoo Finance about cryptocurrency. He was asked: "Do you believe in crypto?"
The Apple co-founder replied: "Crypto has a lot of promises on different things that can make it different in life than before.
He explained: "Look at our US dollar, the government can simply create new dollars and borrow and borrow." In contrast, he found that Bitcoin had a fixed offer and emphasized:
Bitcoin is mathematics, mathematical purity. A Bitcoin can never be created again.
"Bitcoin does not even have a creator that we know. Bitcoin is not operated by some companies. It is only purely mathematical. And I always believe that nature goes over humans", he continued and found that nature "really doesn't change".
Wozniak was further asked if he believes that crypto will change our business.
"Yes, I am in the warehouse that crypto is used effectively. We now have so many digital opportunities to pay things, even to transfer money to people. It's going far back to PayPal, and now we have Apple Pay and Apple Cash. We have Venmo. So we already have other modes than crypto," he replied.
The Apple co-founder said: "Crypto just has a bit of anonymity. I don't know if that is right: 'Oh god, I can do things without realizing it.' I think that with everything they should be able to get up and say: 'Well, I do this transaction. What is possible.
Wozniak continued: "I love it when people like [Twitter CEO] Jack Dorsey talks about how crypto the heart of our business relationships should be." However, the Apple co-founder warned:
The problem is that governments will never allow them to escape their control. If it came to the point where everything is made in crypto and not for observation and taxation and all of this through the governments, the governments would simply ban it. You would not give up your power.
