As of March 24, 2025, Litecoin ($LTC) is officially integrated into Telegram's internal “wallet”. This wallet, managed by the Toncoin community, allows users to buy, sell and trade Litecoin directly in the app - but for now only for users outside the US. External deposits and withdrawals of Litecoin are not yet possible, but will be enabled in the future, according to the wallet team.

Telegram is one of the largest messaging platforms in the world and has over a billion active users per month. The integrated crypto wallet is already used by more than 100 million registered users. In addition to Litecoin, Bitcoin, Toncoin and USDT are also available in the wallet, as well as internal gaming tokens.
